All the food is hand-prepared. Homemade jams, lemon curds, everything is handmade. The main reason I got into this business was that it felt special. It makes you feel pampered. One woman told me after a party that her table never looked so beautiful. I think it helps you forget the pressures of life for a little while. The average working woman doesn't get that kind of special treatment often enough.

Although Ms. Woodington has not been to England herself she has gotten a feel for it through research, impressing one client's British mother with her scones, which the woman said were "every bit as good if not better" than English scones.

It doesn't take much more than an hour, and it relaxes people. People who are afraid that a high tea is going to be snooty are pleasantly surprised. It' elegant but relaxed.

Perfect Blend  specialty catering can serve party sizes from 10 - 100 or more. An ice bucket and crystal are available for champagne and sherry service (alcohol not provided).

Perfect Blend tea party catering is located in Central New Jersey and serves most of the state as well as parts of eastern Pennsylvania. For travel in excess of 45 minutes from our office, a nominal mileage charge is added.
